Yumiko Nagai

Master degree at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT). She had worked at AIT Asian Center for Research on Remote Sensing as Research Associate, then Research Associate at Nihon University, an Research Fellow at Yamaguchi University Center for Research on Remote Sensing, and COO of ListenField Co., Ltd., she founded NSI. She is an expert in GIS and open data.
Dorj Ichikawa PhD

Ph.D. in Remote Sensing, Chiba University, Japan and Data Processing, Academy of Science, Russia. He has professional experience as Professor, Yamaguchi University, Senior Engineerof JAMSS, Expert Engineer in IDEA Consultants Inc., Ltd, Assistant Professor, Iwate University of Japan. He also has worked in Mongolia as Head of Computer Science and Statistics Department, National University and Assistant Professor, National Technical University.
Hiroshi Senzoku

After joining a major U.S. securities firm, he was involved in business restructuring and turnaround projects for financial and business corporations in the investment banking division. After that, he worked for an investment consulting firm and a law firm, where he was in charge of providing solutions for financial issues including fundraising and business restructuring. Currently, he is engaged in project management in collaboration with several academia, with the theme of creating new value and innovation by integrating new thinking, new technology, and current business. His current business theme is geospatial information science.
Chairath Sirirattanapol, Ph.D.

Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. He has strong experiences in Geospatial data analytics with different applications such as time series crop changes, crop damage assessment. He also worked in various Thailand financial institutions responsible for developing platforms.

Previously, he had experience in working with geospatial and computer vision focused organisations. He received a Master of Science degree in Geomatics Engineering from University of the Philippines, and Master of Engineering degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Yamaguchi University. He has strong background on Remote Sensing and GIS applications for spatiotemporal analysis.

He has been experiencing in geospatial data interoperability following OGC standards with Geoserver. He used to work as full-stack developer in different projects related to API back-end platforms at KEA Research Lab, NECTEC and freelance projects using FastAPI and AWS. He also used to operate preprocessing of Satellite images such as Landsat and Sentinel 2.

After graduating from university with a degree in chemistry, she worked at a general company. In addition to normal operations, she created many original formats to improve work efficiency. She participated in the Yamaguchi Prefecture Mom Draft Conference (a meet-up event hosted by Yamaguchi Prefecture) and joined NSI.
Mai Yoshihara

She majored in International Relations at university and studied Chinese and Korean languages during her studies. After graduation, she worked at a Japanese subsidiary of a Korean company, where she was involved in purchasing parts and admin work, mainly translating Korean. She joined NSI after participating in the Yamaguchi Prefecture Mom Draft conference (a meet-up event hosted by Yamaguchi Prefecture).

He has experiences in analysing various types of data sources of remote sensing technology such as satellite images, soil moisture and weather data in different government projects, including of his interests and background in forestry. He also receieved Master of science in Remote sensing and GIS at AIT.

He is an expert in GIS, geospatial information big data, and remote sensing data analysis. He completed his Master's degree in Remote Sensing and GIS at Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
During a secondment to the central government while working for an aerial surveying company, he was engaged in legal documentation. After working in the private sector, he joined NSI.

Including of contributing in the growth of a digital agency and a globally distributed sportswear company, with a primary focus on digital marketing strategies. Her educational qualifications include a Master of Business Management from Khon Kaen University, Thailand.
Kritsana Suwankhajorn
Solution Development | Full-stack geospatial data engineer
He has a strong background in Data Engineering, working extensively with various data pipelines, including those for geospatial, social-network, and financial data. His software development expertise is broad, covering both front-end and back-end development across several projects. Some of the notable projects include a health information exchange system, a GIS data portal for the Thai government, and an agricultural mapping platform. Additionally, he has experience in cloud computing and DevOps as well.

He received a Master's degree in Environmental Systems Engineering from Yamaguchi University. He is currently pursuing his doctoral degree while working for NSI. He has experience in remote sensing and GIS, particularly in habitat suitability modelling using optical satellite.

He spent several years working for a local consulting firm, gaining extensive experience in project management, particularly in technology and business development. After leading a joint project to develop use-cases for anomaly detection using satellite observation data, he joined NSI.
Arnob Bormudoi,

Research Solution | Remote Sensing Engineer
Dr. Arnob Bormudoi is an expert in GIS and remote sensing for environmental planning and disaster mapping. He holds a civil engineering degree and advanced skills in flood modeling and mapping. He completed his master's and doctoral studies at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and post-doctoral research at Yamaguchi University.
At AIT's Geo-Informatics Center (GIC), he focused on disaster management and environmental monitoring training. His notable projects, funded by JAXA, include flood modeling, hazard mapping, and vulnerability analysis across Asia.
Siti Sarah Binti Rohaizad

After completing her Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at Yamaguchi University, she returned to Malaysia before relocating back to Japan. She then worked as a Project Engineer at a hotel construction company in Okinawa for a year, managing projects, documentation, and liaising with stakeholders. She also handled English-Japanese translation and interpretation. At NSI, she is responsible for administrative and technical support, as well as English documentation.

Hirokazu Yamamoto
Hirokazu Yamamoto received his Ph.D. degrees in Electronics and Photonic Systems from Chiba University in 2000. He is currently a chief senior research scientist at National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. His research interests include the calibration and validation of spaceborne optical sensors.
Hozuma Sekine
Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and Forest Carbon Sink, Waseda University, Japan.
He has been engaged in policy support and public-private consulting services focusing on space development, science & technology, earth observation, climate change, and disaster management at private think tank in Japan. He has also been involved in a wide range of research project in advanced technology, natural capital management, and future society design.
Currently, he is promoting efforts for the intelligence services based on satellite and other geospatial/social data.
