New Space Intelligence, Inc. CEO Yumiko Nagai Competed in “NIKKEI THE PITCH GROWTH” West Japan Regional Qualifier!

New Space Intelligence, Inc. (hereinafter NSI) participated in the West Japan Area Preliminary Round of the startup pitch contest "NIKKEI THE PITCH GROWTH" held on Wednesday, November 26, at Okayama Convention Center and hosted by Nikkei Inc. Our CEO, Yumiko Nagai, took the stage.

"NIKKEI THE PITCH GROWTH," organized by Nikkei Inc., is a pitching event aimed at fostering open innovation between regional startups and major corporations/investors. It seeks to uncover innovative technologies and business ideas dormant in local areas, providing them with nationwide recognition and opportunities for growth. The event functions as a platform not only for fundraising but also for matching opportunities that can lead to business alliances and talent acquisition, making it a crucial platform for promoting breakthroughs among regional startups in the growth stage.


In our pitch, NSI proposed a concrete approach to addressing societal challenges, built on our satellite data pipeline technology, and presented our plan for expansion into the national and overseas markets. As a regional startup, we also conveyed our strong determination to scale the technology we have cultivated to a national and global level.


NSI advanced to this preliminary round after passing the document screening. Coverage of the preliminary competition is scheduled to appear soon in the Nikkei newspaper and other various media outlets. In parallel with the in-person judging, the pitch video will be streamed online, and a public review (Virtual Pitch Run) including votes from the general public will take place. Companies that successfully navigate these selection processes will secure a ticket to the National Competition scheduled for March.
