【Event Report】Participated in "Mirai Walkers★Ube 2025," a Career Experience Event for Junior High School Students in Ube City
UBE, Japan – New Space Intelligence,Inc. (hereinafter NSI) participated as a local company in "Mirai Walkers★UBE," a career experience event in Ube City held on November 12 (Wed) and 13 (Thu), 2025.
■ Event Overview "Mirai Walkers★UBE" is a career experience event hosted by the Ube City Board of Education since the 2021 fiscal year, aiming to provide students with an opportunity to discover future occupations by learning about the appeal of local companies.
Approximately 30 companies and organizations, including civil services, medical/welfare, manufacturing, and service industries, participated. Students toured the booths of interest to learn about the enjoyment and significance of work. Over the two days, about 1,000 students from 12 public and private schools in the city participated.
◼︎ The NSI Booth Experience At the NSI booth, we provided junior high school students with the opportunity to "interact with a computer to check changes in Ube City's surface data captured by artificial satellites." They were also able to find their schools or homes on the map and discover changes in the ground surface nearby. The students listened intently and learned how data obtained from space—a scale they don't usually encounter—is utilized in our daily lives and local communities.
All participating staff were extremely pleased that the younger generation, who will lead the future, had the chance to engage with space technology and data analysis, feeling new possibilities. We were also inspired by the students' eager learning attitude.
■ Featured in Ube Nippo Newspaper
The event was prominently featured on the front page of the Ube Nippo newspaper on November 12, 2025. NSI's booth experience was also introduced.
