New Space Intelligence Featured in the “Yomiuri Shimbun”



On May 26, 2025, the Yomiuri Shimbun morning edition's social affairs page, "Future Creation 2050," featured comments from New Space Intelligence and our CEO, Yumiko Nagai. 


This article is the second part of the "Future Creation 2050" series, a continuous project focusing on the future of Kyushu, Yamaguchi and delves into industries with growth potential.

The article, titled "Space Industry: Innovation from Kyushu," reported on the current status and future prospects of the space industry based in Kyushu and Yamaguchi. It specifically highlighted the efforts of QPS Research Institute, a startup originating from Kyushu University that is advancing the launch of small Earth observation satellites, and our company, New Space Intelligence, as well as the advantages of the space industry in the Kyushu and Yamaguchi regions.

New Space Intelligence Co., Ltd. was featured for its business model, which focuses on the current challenge that advanced technology is required for satellite data utilization, hindering its widespread adoption. The company selects necessary data, processes it into an easy-to-use format, and provides information.

Our CEO, Yumiko Nagai, stated in the article: "Satellite data is highly versatile and useful in all industries. The day will come when many companies will have their own satellites".
